INNOVATION AND RESTORATION IN BUILDING MATERIALS: ZINTEK AND THE SUSTAINABILITY TREND Regeneration of cities: three case studies that illustrate how it is possible to intervene in different contexts (historical and industrial) according to the rules of the "build responsibly." Upgrading energy efficiency and environmental compatibility are the very challenges for the architecture of the future: this is why Zintek organizes an event dedicated to the theme of regeneration of cities, presenting three case studies that illustrate how it is possible to intervene in different contexts (historical and industrial) according to the rules of the "build responsibly."

The event Zintek: innovation and restoration in a sustainable way will be held May 19, 2015 at Villa Borromeo, in Sarmeola di Rubano (PD), and industry experts will illustrate the different aspects of the trend of sustainability in architecture.

From the technical solutions for responsible consumption of resources to the choice of materials, each design element reflects a growing focus on sustainability: as a company producing zinc-titanium zintek®, laminate coatings for roofs and façades able to give shape to the most different projects while maintaining high standards of quality and technology, Zintek Srl has long undertaken the journey of awareness of respect for the environment.

For a development more and more tied to the logic of sustainable design, the company has complied with all the requirements of the reference standards for its product, including the sustainable use of natural resources activating the mapping of LEED® receivables, FSC® certification and the evaluation of the life cycle of the product through the methodology of Life Cycle Assessment.  The company is also certified to ISO 9001:2008, BS OHSAS 180001:2007 and ISO 14001/UNI EN ISO 14001:2004, and affixes CE marking to their products.
