In the Venetian region there are more than 1600 slaughter houses, for this reason the transformation and packaging themes are highly considered. Besides the events in the more structured slaughter houses, many events are organized inside the companies which deal with transformation and packaging. More information...

Furthermore, the Venetian territory is one of the 11 Italian regions authorized to produce pork meat destined for the DOP chain, and to this purpose most of the production is addressed. As a result, the offer of salamis and hams is incredibly rich and, on the occasion of the Expo 2015, their production chain opens its doors to curious visitors.
