THE FESTIVAL OF CHEESE WITH EXPO VENETO In Nogarole Vicentino, the second edition with protagonists the dairies of the territory and their delicious cheeses
After the resounding success of the first edition, the Festival of Cheese and products De.Co. will return to the country to live in the days of Nogarole Vicentino 8-9-10 May 2015.
For an entire weekend, the protagonists will be the cheese and dairy Nogarole with typical and De.Co. of the area, along with the natural wonders of this remote corner of the Lessini mountains in the Vicenza, between the Valle del Chiampo and Agno Valley.
During the event will be held the 2nd edition of the "Best Cheese of the Valleys of Chiampo and dell'Agno", a duel to the piece of cheese between the dairies Nogarole, High, Trissino and Castelgomberto who will compete in five categories: cottage cheese, fresh, medium, old and very old. The outcome of the competition will be decided by the average between the vote of a jury of high-profile and tasting by a jury, composed of all those who wish to participate and complete the evaluation form (in collaboration with the regional business Veneto Agriculture).
For the first time all cheese Vicenza who got the name Comunale will be reunited on the same table, in collaboration with the Tourism Promotion Consortium Vicenzaè.
In the menu there will be exceptional gnocchi co 'Fioreta served with traditional sauce with butter and sage or the "nogarolese" bacon and nuts, cold dishes made with cheese Monte Faldo De.Co. the dairy capital of Nogarole, in combination with Honey's Valchiampo De.Co, alongside meats and other local products.

Friday, May 8
The second edition of the Cheese Festival opens with a special evening dedicated to the excellence of our earth: an introduction course to cheese held by an expert, to learn how to recognize the quality and learning evaluation systems tasting, and also a course of rapprochement olive oils, with a glimpse of some local productions; limited places. Participation fee € 3.00 for each course.
To appreciate the local cheese and dairy products in all shapes and flavors, the committee proposes a special tasting dinner (by reservation), with a unique menu dedicated to the best gourmets. The dinner will start at 20:00 at a cost of € 15,00. Reservations required at 339/3488430 Tuesday May 5th. Availability subject to availability.

Saturday, May 9
- 17:30: opening exhibition market of agricultural producers and local hobbyists;
- From 18:00 to 22:00: Opening food stands: gnocchi co 'Fioreta, cold dishes made with cheese Nogarole, honey and meats;
- 20:30: parade babies' and children from 0 to 16 years (Spring-Summer 2015) in collaboration with the store Dassi clothing Chiampo (gallery Famila). Get to know the super-guest Peppa Pig! Will perform even the girls in the group of rhythmic dance La Fenice in Nogarole;
- 22:00: Belfo dj - music to 360 °;
- 24:00: Closing event.

Sunday, May 10
- From 7:30 to 9:30: inscriptions 2nd "Caminada dei capitei", in three routes 07/12/19 km and refreshments with cheeses and local products along the way;
- 8:30: Opening exhibition market agricultural products and hobbyists;
- From 9:00 to 10:30: Competition with jury;
- 10:00: demonstration cheese production in the square, with explanation of the early stages of milk processing;
- From 11:00 to 15:00: Competition: opening jury;
- 11:30: Opening food stands (until 15:00);
- 15:30: award ceremony of the competition;
- 16:00: The Court Rural Veneta: evocation of the traditions of our past and the arts and crafts of yesteryear with costumed figures of the group "The Court Rural Veneta", which will recreate the atmosphere of an ancient district of the country.

An event organized by Pro Loco Nogarole Vicentino in collaboration with the municipal administration and the festival committees and voluntary associations of Nogarole and the fraction of Alves .
