In more recent times, each district had its common oven and, sometimes, bread was baked. Besides bread, in the Veneto ovens we can find other typical products such as breadsticks, biscuits and cakes, often connected to festivities.

Furthermore, in the Veneto territory, where the symbol of popular cuisine is represented by polenta, it is natural to find corn flours obtained from mills which still use millstones, respecting the ancient techniques. For this reason we find different types of corn flours.
